Zolowo Township is a rural town located in the northern part of the Republic of Liberia in the county called Lofa. Lofa county is one of 15 countries and the largest in Liberia. The Township of Zolowo is about 11 km from the main highway City of Salayea.

Zolowo Township has a population of around 5000 in which most of inhabitants reside in villages. The inhabitants of the Town are mostly farmers and business people. There are mostly two tribal groups residing here namely Lorma and Madingo, the Lorma being the largest group.

The Town is built on a hill and also surrounded by hills. The public high school is on a hill as well just right at the entrance of the Town. There are also one or two private schools. The Town has few churches and a mosque. The Town has one clinic or health center.

Zolowo Township is also boasted with rain forest, and the weather more of tropical. The forest has deposit of gold. The Town also has rivers and the local engage in small scale fishing. There are also animals in the forest such as rain deer, cheetahs, elephants etc., but are rarely seen because of hunting activities by the locals.

There is no electricity, pine water or internet, except for limited mobile internet.
