Inmates feel that it is a system that isn't benefitting them or anyone outside the prison walls. What inmates endure on a day to day basis is almost dehumanizing. The prison cells don't have to be luxurious but they almost seem dangerous to live in. Inmates are being injured and unaccounted for with many feeling that they are purposely being treated like this. There have been cases where inmates were brutally beaten or injured and were still forced to do labor. This is unfair and unjust because prisoners are being denied many basic human rights.
