Baoji University of Arts and Sciences，located in the hometown of emperor yan and bronze ware, baoji. Baoji university predecessor was founded in 1958, closed in 1963, becoming baoji, shaanxi normal university in 1975, 1978, approved by the state council for baoji normal college, approved by the former state education commission in 1992, with 1984 new merger of baoji baoji university college of liberal arts. In 2010, it was approved as "the establishment of a college for the establishment of a master's degree awarding unit", and in July 2013, it was granted the right to grant master's degree. As of 2013, there are 61 undergraduate majors in the school, covering the top 10 disciplines, facing the national enrollment and the enrollment of foreign students. Each year, the school conducts undergraduate exchange programs with the central university of Oklahoma, the university of mossin in Ohio, and Louisiana university in Louisiana. As of 2013, the school has two campuses, including the old campus and the new campus (east side), covering an area of 1,100 mu. It has more than 22,000 full-time students. There are more than 1,300 faculty members, including more than 320 professors and associate professors, and more than 730 doctoral and master degree candidates. As of 2013, there were three first-class academic master's degree programs in the school, and the program was launched in 2011.

Baoji liberal arts college, formerly known as baoji university (bachelor's degree) founded in 1958, was suspended in 1963 because of the cultural revolution.
It was founded in 1975 as baoji branch of shaanxi normal university. It was approved by the state council as baoji normal college in 1978.
In 1992, with the approval of the former national education commission, baoji normal college merged with the newly established baoji university in 1984 and was renamed baoji liberal arts college.
In 2010, I was awarded a new master's degree awarding unit to build a university.
On May 25, 2011, the people's government of baoji city and baoji university of arts and sciences solemnly held the signing ceremony of baoji university.
In July 2013, I received the right to grant master's degree.

As of 2013, there were more than 1,200 teaching staff in the school, including 310 professors, associate professors and other senior professional titles, with 532 doctoral and master degree holders.
