Will Eccles is an embedded software engineer who likes cars and spending time doing absolutely nothing.

Cars edit

Will currently owns a 2013 Mini Cooper S (R56) with a bunch of fun modifications and a 2008 BMW 528xi (E60) with no modifications and a (typical of the E60) rather uncooperative transmission. The Mini also includes a custom Arduino-based display for various bits of OBD-II data for vehicle monitoring, which was significantly cheaper than buying ready-made gauges.

Featured Projects edit

While most of Will's portfolio is comprised mostly of work-related projects which can't be listed, he has also made a couple of somewhat interesting projects in his free time.

cfm (cactus file manager) edit

cfm (styled "cfm" intentionally, and never "CFM"), or "cactus file manager," is the first significant member of Will's lineup of "cactus software," which is not an official organization or brand. cfm is a TUI file manager for Unix-like systems and is known to work on macOS, BSD, and Linux.[1] cfm does not require any dependencies beyond a libc, and works on almost all POSIX-compliant systems.
