Vritti is a Sanskrit word meaning a movement of consciousness, a thought. My principle areas of interest are Yoga, Meditation, Tantra, Alchemy, colorful religious Sects, and Spiritual teachers among other things.

I am the type of person who chooses to believe that anything is possible. I am also the type of person who has learned that many ideas and their assertion are simply a point of view lacking reasonable support. I sometimes think this distinction is worthy of being pointed out, especially in an encyclopedia.

I am fascinated and feel kinship with the idea that readers should be left to form their own opinions on any article. Properly cited assertions from reputable sources in a WP:NPOV article is a research concept which speaks to me. This is what I look for when researching any topic and this is one big reason why I like the WP:WP.

I've been studying Wikipedia in my spare time for almost a year. It has been a process like peeling an onion. Every time I think I'm ready to contribute, I find a new layer of policy to consider and understand. It has also taken a fair amount of focus to grok an appreciation of Wikipedia's broader social field and the roles and function of its administrators. I'm sure there is much more to learn, but it's time to begin. I hope to become a good editor and contributor to what I perceive to be a fascinating intellectual project.

Please leave comments and suggestions on my talk page. Thanks!
