Hi! My name is Victor Campos Silveira. I was born in Recife, Pernambuco, but I currently live in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte. I also lived in Lisbon, Portugal, for six months.

I started my contributions some years ago. However, now, I cannot do it as much as I used to do, as I am too busy. Anyway, I hope to come back as soon as possible!
I speak four languages at an advanced level: Portuguese, English, French and Spanish. In fact, I might be a little rusty in French and Spanish, but I still understand and speak them enough. I also know a little about Italian and Esperanto; I cannot speak them at all, but I can read some useful texts in those two languages.

Article Rescue Squadron edit
After two articles that I created had been nominated for deletion — Mallavoodoo and Megarex) —, I became a member of Article Rescue Squadron. Thereafter, I look for additional sources and edit some articles, trying to improve and save them, in order to encourage new Wikipedians. Currently, I am "indebted" to that group, but I hope to come back to work soon.

I am graduated in Philosophy, since 2011. During my course, I specifically studied Logic, Philosophy of Language and Philosophy of Mathematics. However, I also enjoyed other areas such as Ethics and Ontology. Among the main philosophers in History, I especially admire Aristotle, Immanuel Kant, Gottlob Frege and Ludwig Wittgenstein. I also like Plato, William of Ockham, René Descartes and Martin Heidegger.

Brazilian Music edit
In my free time, I like to listen to several kinds of music and to read about Brazilian music. I used to research about this subject and to write some results on Wikipedia. Unfortunetaly, I had to stop it for a while.
I like MPB, Brazilian rock and samba-jazz. I love instrumental music too. My favourite Brazilian artists and bands are Chico Buarque, Toquinho, Vinicius de Moraes, Mutantes, Raul Seixas, Hermeto Pascoal, Egberto Gismonti, among others.
World Music edit
As I lived in Portugal in the past, I also enjoy Portuguese music, especially Amalia Rodrigues and Madredeus. Moreover, I like American and English music too. Actually, I like good music (no matter what it means). My favourite artists and bands are Leonard Cohen, Joan Baez, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, and The Beatles. Well... It is impossible to list all the bands and artists I like. They are too many!

I know something about music theory, since I studied it some years ago. I can read musical scores with little difficult... but I can do it anyway. I also play acoustic guitar and bass.
