These are some of my beliefs, which inform my editing agenda:

  • I do not believe any present religion in existence is the truth. Assessing all the content that is claimed to be divinely revealed of a particular religion reveals countless contractions and factual, historical, prophetic and scientific errors. Besides, all religions have fundamentally false foundations: the existence of unseen beings (God, Angels, Jinns etc.) and places (heaven, hell etc.), which beyond hearsay have never been actually shown or proven; the asseration that a greater power answers the prayers of its followers, which can only be proven if an individual has a private prayer, that is 100% impossible under natural circumstances, answered; religious texts, claimed to be the words of the divine, that were only composed in their standardised versions many years after the death of the religious figures who propagated them.
  • I believe most of the world's harm caused by religion stems overwhelmingly from three religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam – although Hinduism and Buddhism have shown ample examples of their harmfulness, primarily in India and Myanmar respectively. Therefore, extra effort should be made to expose and disseminate the falsehoods of these religions so that, at the least, its adherants will not take their religions so seriously.
  • I do not discount the existence of a greater power. However, if such a power exists then it obviously does not demand to be known by humanity. Personally, i hope there is a greater power and an afterlife that will dispense ultimate justice, but i can neither prove nor disprove such things – so i will continue to only have hope.
  • I believe the Golden Rule surpasses all religious rules and ethics. I try and treat people as i would wish to be treated, and i avoid anything that is clearly harmful.
