About me edit

I am an Okie of Transylvanian Saxon descent. I am very interested in military history overall, and I joined the Wiki first and foremost to properly flesh out the Battle of Transylvania article, given that Transy is my ancestral homeland. However, I soon found an entire "world" of work ahead of me. While researching the Battle of Transylvania and its details, I came across large chunks of account of the whole Romanian Campaign of WW1 as a whole. I then realized how patchy its Wiki coverage is, and thus I found myself a niche where I knew I could make meaningful contribution. So, onto my work I proceeded. However, currently I am slowed down considerably due to college.

Recently, I have been redirecting my focus towards Romania under Nicolae Ceaușescu. Although, debt and in-Pact independence aside, I'm actually more interested in his immediate legacy. Namely, Romania in the first few years after his fall. I have a huge log of sources that I've been gathering. Soon I will organize them in my sandbox, and proceed to untangle the early to mid 1990s Romania.
