Thomas Dietl Pedersen (Tomsen) is a Danish Producer who started out as a drummer in his early days influinced by his father "Fuzzy" (Jens Wilhelm Pedersen) U.R.D (Drummer,virgin Records) Studiyng with Jan Juhler as a Sound Recordist on films he did work on several feature movies ,among here : "At Kende Sandheden" by Niels Malmros Thomas did the Score music for Ragnar Grastens "Anja efter Victor" (3)
(2003-2012)For 7 years in all, Thomas Dietl was a permanent employee of IO Interactive (Hitman Francise ,Square Enix) as Senior sound designer, both associated with the game and later in the Creative Service department. Thomas has worked on titles like Hitman Contracts, Hitman Bloodmoney and Hitman Absolution plus Kane and Lynch: Dead Men,and kane and Lynch: Dog Days all titles with great international success, and not least super nice reviews of the sound. Thomas, in his work as Concept sound designer, has worked closely and creatively with art directors, programmers, composers, producers and brand / marketing experts at home and abroad. Thomas has loosely solved Trailer and Teaser tasks on the games "Mini Ninjas" , in addition to some more experimental creative projects especially on Hitman.
Thomas's technical understanding has made it natural for IO inter active ask him to introduce new software and implement it in the audio department after positive tests. In particular, the "Abelton Live" application, which is widely used by the audio department today.
In 2006 Thomas Recieved a "BAFTA AWARD" nomination From British Academy Film Awards for "BEST CINEMATIC CUTSCENE AUDIO" Thomas represented the company on the outside, both in the "recruitment" context and through workshops and lectures at ITU, DTU, DIEM and elsewhere. Movie Star Planet hired Thomas on "Boonivers" and "BlockStar Planet" to do Score music and Sound design.
Together with the "RobotBoys" he won Talent 2008 on Danish national TV composing and producing the music for Semi Final Show, and Final Show. Besides working with Music and sound Thomas Dietl teaches in schools and institutions. Thomas was nominated for Best Sound design at the "TRUE AWARD" in Denmark for "ROYAL COPENHAGEN" wich is the internal prizing in Danish Cormmercial Buisness
