A Little About Me

I left behind a fourteen-year career as a broadcaster on FM radio in Manila, Philippines. Most recently, from 1998-2003, I hosted/produced 'Zach and Joey in the Morning' over NU107, an alternative rock station heard over 107.5FM. [1] My experience in radio spans duties as Newscaster/Jock/Host for an eclectic mix of formats - Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR), Jazz, Alternative, and recently, an occasional saunter into Contemporary Christian Radio (CCR). Nowadays, my voice can still be heard in radio and TV commercials as a freelance Voice Talent. That, and am an unofficial consultant to former radio colleagues when my opinion is asked for regarding their shows or on-air talents.

I spent the past two years in the Call Center industry as an American Accent/American Culture Training Manager.

In between all of this, I have been a freelance writer for a major Philippine newspaper, The Philippine Star, throughout the years, contributing articles for Mother's Day, Father's Day and whatever else has been sent my way to write about.

I have acted in plays for local theater companies including Repertory Philippines' Neil Simon's Proposals, Our Town and Murder for Rent.

Here and now, I work full-time for Every Nation as Communications Coordinator.

Thelma, your hard work on the EN site is much appreciated. I saw it about a month ago and about gagged. You've put so much work into it and it shows! TKirby 05:16, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
