The Fields stars Tara Reid, Academy Award Winner Cloris Leachman, Joshua Ormond, Faust Checho, and Bev Appleton. The film is being produced by Faust Checho with Mr. Big Productions, in association with MazWa Productions. Hollywood veteran Tommy Lee Wallace is attached as an associate producer. Production spanned six weeks, throughout September and October, and was shot 100% on location in the Pocono Mountains region in Pennsylvania. The film is anticipated to be released in 2011.

Plot

The Fields is described as "a psychological thriller based on true events that took place in a small Pennsylvania town in 1973. It tells the story of a young boy and his family who are terrorized by an unseen presence." The story is based on true events that happened to producer/screenwriter, Harrison Smith. As a young boy, Harrison found himself dealing with a very difficult home life, as his parents were constantly at odds. As a result of this deteriorating marriage, Harrison spent a lot of time with his grandparents on their farm, where, soon after his arrival, both Harrison and his grandparents' house began to be terrorized by an unseen presence lurking in the massive cornfields surrounding the house. It's a tight character study of a young boy and the effects of difficult family life, a vivid imagination, and the terrorizing events of the world around him.
