This is a very important topic that the bring up because sent control is a big issue when bow hunting. In General the distance to take a well aimed shot is curial. Sometime this is in the distance of the animals, the deer sent range. This would be dependent upon wind and other uncontrolled variables, such as human activity in the hunting area. This is a sure indicator that will hurt a successful hunt. A good analogy of this is that of as grenade. Picture a poisonous grenade going off with the circumference of 50 feet this would be like human sent, specifically the secretion of oils so every place that is touched This is a contaminated area with a 50 foot poison that the deer will stay away from. Noise discipline is also an a important factor when bow hunting but this General knowledge, sent is the most important thing when bow hunting.
