His nickname is "Tishu". village His paternal village Baghoud is in Dabhra Tehsil of Janjgir Champa district in Chhattisgarh. His father is principal in Government School, Karpipali. Before him and his brother , he also had two elder brothers who died early in their childhood. He is a fan of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his childhood idols were cricketer M.S.Dhoni.
