Hey there!
This page was made in the course of a seminar I chose to visit this semester...well, I've already given that away. Yes, I'm a student studying English and French at University of Freiburg. This means, that you're visiting a user page right now and not an actual Wikipedia article. Wondering how I came up with this username? I'm currently attending a class on James Joyce's Ulysses. The first chapter of this novel is named Telemachos although the spelling might differ a little bit. Nevertheless, I'm greatly interested in languages and am looking forward working on translations with and on Wikipedia, because to some degree, language shifts and shapes the way we think (see Linguistic relativity).
What seminar? edit
Said course is mainly about Wikipedia and translating Wikipedia articles, preferably German articles into English. It is a project that has been launched several years ago and has been highly respected ever since. This said: stay tuned for our work!
