I am Terry C and I live in Corfe Mullen, Dorset in the United Kingdom. Until I retired, I worked as an engineering manager and consultant for a local engineering company that specialises in test systems.

I was born in Northampton in 1950 and spent 14 years in the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy before settling in Dorset. I'm interested in anything to do with computing (Linux in particular), technology, history, rambling and conservation. I volunteer at our local Model Town, where I have been responsible for the installation of several features that each use a Raspberry Pi to control various functions.

My first article was an expansion of the stub about my village, which gave me a great deal of pleasure, since I had to learn most of it by local research. My other major projects are related to radar systems; in particular Pulse-Doppler radar and Radar Signal Characteristics.

I currently have no ongoing major projects in Wikipedia, but I monitor quite a few and contribute to maintenance of them.
