September 2019

I am transitioning from being a user/consumer to an editor/administrator/contributor.

I am an open source intelligence (OSINT) researcher by day and hope to bring some of my skills in that area to the work I do on Wikipedia. My background includes tours of duty in: non-profit leadership; academic/scholalry media & communications; digital media product design; product managmeent; user experience & customer experience design; media studies/ecology and I have dabbled in music and new media journalism. I've run a digital media startup/art publishing group, have worked for both mainstream and alternative publishing and media ventures.

Goals:

My time here on Wikipedia is intended to help with community-defined priorities, but my personal focus will be to both learn and contribute to the quality, completeness and accuracy of articles in areas I have subject matter expertise in. I'm just getting started, so this user page will grow quickly as an outline of the work I've completed and the work I intend to do. Lots to learn...an endless supply of work to do. Constructive criticism welcome.
