A bit about me:

Born and raised in Washington state, my first job after high school was in the area of computer programming and electrical wiring for energy management systems, but in college I studied music. After finishing my Masters degree in music composition in 2009 (Western Washington University) I moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan. Since then I have worked for several arts organizations, and currently coordinate a classical music festival in the Pacific Northwest. In Ann Arbor I started my own studio in 2010 where I teach piano, clarinet, music theory and composition to around 40 students each week. I hope to combine my interest in coding with my interests in teaching and music by contributing meaningful and informed articles to the Wikipedia universe.
