Secondcap is a firm working towards increasing liquidity in the private equity secondary market. It is the creator of SecondaryNet, an independent Transaction Management System in secondary markets. The company works in the field of private equity, real estateand infrastructure funds.[2]

Blackstone's private equity business has been one of the largest investors in leveraged buyout transactions over the last decade while its real estate business has been an active acquirer of commercial real estate.
