The Steinbeis Centre for Technology Transfer India (Steinbeis India) is an organization that delivers two-pronged services in Solar Training to youth as well as Technology Assistance & Transfer to Small businesses in India. It is a unit of 2E Knowledge Ventures Private Limited (2EKVPL) and is the official representative of Steinbeis GmbH & Co. KG fürTechnologietransfer(Steinbeis GmbH) in India.
2EKVPL has two units, or divisions- one being 2E Skills and the other being Steinbeis India. 2E Skills is used to carry out training programs in association with government skills development schemes. It is usually for the less skilled technician level trainings. Steinbeis has its work in Consultancy services and Training. Regardless of whether the Training under the Steinbeis banner involves government or not, it is for the more skilled engineer level training programs.
The focus areas of Steinbeis India are Innovation management, Clean Technology financing, Waste to Energy, Training and Skill development and Clean Technology Accelerator.
