Stanley M. Walthour II (Mike Walthour) Musician and gospel songwriter.

Mike Walthour is a Georgia native, he was born March 25, 1982 in a small town called Milledgeville Georgia. He is the son of Cheryl A. Barnes and Stanley M. Walthour senior. Mike Walthour was raised in Savannah Georgia, where he attended the chatham county school system from pre-school to 12th grade. He graduated in June of 2000 as a piano major of the Savannah Arts Academy. He later went on to attend school in Americus Georgia (South Georgia Technical College) to presue an education in computer information systems. After attending South Georgia Technical College for a few months, he then returned to Savannah to finish his education.

Mike Walthour started playing organ and keyboard at the age of 11 and is still playing today. He has played for a number of gospel artists, like Karen Clark Sheard, Dorinda Clark Cole, Amber Bullock, Denise Tishner, directed for Myron Butler and Candy West to name a few as well as played for a few ministries. In his years of playing, he has co-produced and written for local gospel artist from 2005 until the present. His future aspirations are to become a world renowned gospel song writer. In 2010 Mike received the 2010 Vision Magazine Award for best choir director of the southeastern division of Georgia.
