Sharon Kyle is the former president of the Peoples College of Law. She is also the publisher of the LA Progressive, an American digital magazine that focuses on issues of political, social, and cultural consequence to the progressive community. The magazine contains both original content and pieces that are aggregated to create a daily edition that is relevant to the diverse communities of Greater Los Angeles.
The writers advocate progressive positions and policies that lead to a more just and equitable society. Categories covered include the prison industrial complex, climate change, the military industrial complex, elections and campaigns and others.
The LA Progressive exists to provide a venue for expression to the region’s dispossessed and powerless and those who champion their causes. It was founded by husband and wife team, Dick Price and Sharon Kyle who now serve as its publisher and editor.
