Here's all you need to know for most armor related questions.
- Is there armor for .50 BMG
- Yes there is. Chicken Plates have 500m standoff, AA4UPs have M33 point blank IIRC, SARVIPs can eat dedicated AP.
- What would be a recommended armor
- Probably a Hesco 4400 or 4401, they're a mix of cheap, useful, and reliable.
- Why is AR500 terrible?
- Quality issues, certification fuckery, using affiliates... Check the APM, top right.
- What is GOST?
- It is the Russian armor standard, stretching from GOST 1, 2, 2A, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 6A. See also, VPAM, HOSDB.
- How bad is blunt force trauma?
