I find that the current categorisation of redirect templates is horrifying, and that the information on WHEN to use each is too scattered (it seems that the current recommendation is to include this info on the category page). So, I've made my own. If someone wants to upload it to the WP: namespace, feel free!

This listing will include all the redirect templates, including ones that redirect to another redirect template.

This template is only used for differences in spelling. Punctuation and grammar are covered by other templates. Grammar may use this template in conjunction with another; for example, potatos uses both this template and `{{R from plural}}`.

Full title changes that only have specific applications (e.g., {{R from historic name}}, which is meant for places only) are listed in the corresponding section.
