"The misuse of language induces evil in the soul." - Socrates

That would pretty much explain my Wikipedia presence. I'm not a big editor. I just try and make needed small changes (all over the place) as I come to them. I first came across this wonderful quote in the following short piece by author Ursula_K._Le_Guin: A Few Words to a Young Writer. This is how a constantly try to live my life, because the word is the thing [1] and everything. Thus accuracy in speech/writing is of utmost importance (and no, I'm not at all that anal-retentive, only exacting in what I try to say and write).

I speak both Hebrew and English as mother-tongues, and am an observant Jew, living in Israel. This defines, to a large extent, my areas of focus in the Wikipedias.

  1. ^ In Hebrew both of these words "word" and "thing" ARE in fact from the same root.
