Shearn81217 is Freshman at Georgia Southern University. She says the school describes itself in it's name: Georgia= party school Southern= its in the south. She is studying Early Childhood Education. She enjoys working with children and being a role model to them because she feels that you can impact a persons life mostly by encouraging them at a young age. In Spring of 2012 this user will transfer and continue her studies at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Having been born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia this user is passionate about music, art, and culture.

"Electric Feel" edit

Having been raised in a technologically savvy world, this user can operate all the basics: texting, email, web surfing, Microsoft programs, etc. This user, however, does not necessarily like technology. She thinks that it has a lot of potential to destroys people. While she has grown accustomed to texting and "facebooking", she feels that many people transform into a zombie-like state while gluing their faces to TV screens, computers, and video games. When it comes to technology this user is all 90s, she didn't mind when computers only did the simple things for us. If this user could go back to listening to records and sending letters she would.

"Come Together" edit

This user has and always will be in favor for Wikipedia. While this user's instructors have often hounded her to not use Wikipedia for her essays, she still thinks it is an excellent resource for learning. This user thinks that Wikipedia can be an excellent source for quick info, summaries, and potential resources. After working with Wikipedia she also feels that it is a great place for people to help others and come together. She feels very strong about keeping Wikipedia article open for all to edit. Because all articles are carefully watched by other users and official wikistaff it makes it very difficult for people to go in and change articles obnoxiously. Even when articles get disturbed, it is very easy for Wikipedia to catch the changes, and go back into the archive to undo the edits. Shearn81217 believes that Wikipedia is a perfect place for people (students, teachers,adults, and elders) to "do something."

This user does respect the fact that Wikipedia is not a very credited resource for writing research; however, she has found that it is a great source for basic information on a subject, and can even give you links to credible resources.

"The Good Times are Killing Me" edit

As previously stated, this user is a Freshman in college; therefore having a section boast and brag about all of her accomplishments is not necessary. However, this user claims to have lived her life to the fullest thus far. Over the course of growing up, she has learned all that she known through trial and error. She credits most of her successes to music and nature. This user can spend the whole day with a good play list and an open field. She really enjoys reflection time and relaxing. As a child she learned that the times are only getting harder, so she feels it is important for people to get out and enjoy the simple things. In fact two of her tattoos are partially inspired by nature. Her first tattoo was an owl. She choose this because it represents wisdom. Also, owls are the rulers of night and seers of souls. Her second tattoo was added to her first tattoo. It is a tree in which the owl sits a top of. As previously mentioned nature is a big inspiration to her. She feels that one can learn infinite knowledge through the observation of trees.
Outside the realm of free-thinking and nature this user is a huge fan of NFL and college football. She credits this to her Mid Western family. This user is a Green Bay Packers fan, and would like to inform you that they are your 2010 World Champions and are hungry for a two peat. Also she is a big Wisconsin Badgers fan.
