My Musical Background:

Once I was introduced to the viola in public school at age ten I showed a natural enthusiasm for music. I have studied solo and chamber music at multiple music festivals including Killington Music Festival, Encore School of Music, and The Quartet Program. I also spent a summer studying orchestral music under then baton of Cliff Colnot at Indiana University in Bloomington and studied privately with Alan de Veritch.

During my time at James Madison University where I received a Bachelor degree in Music Performance, I served as Principal Violist of its Symphony and Opera Orchestras and was awarded as a finalist of its annual Concerto/Aria Competition in 2010. Alongside Amadi Azikiwe with whom I studied at JMU, he performed at the National Kennedy Center in 2008.

Music most interested in:

Alongside the obvious plethora of Classical music, I am interested in a variety of popular music as well. This includes but is not limited to Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, and Alternative Rock, and Jazz.
