Tables edit

(source)

Tables are surprisingly easy:

  1. Put "{|" at the beginning,
  2. Start each cell entry on a new line with "|" at the beginning
  3. Start each new line of the table by putting "|-" on its own line, and then starting the first entry with "|" as above.
  4. End the table with "|}".

Example (hit "edit" to see the coding):

first line, first cell first line, second cell first line, third cell
second line, first cell second line, second cell second line, third cell

Add in {| border="1" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse border-color: #444444" |- (just cut and paste this -- that's what I do) to put lines in, e.g.,

first line, first cell first line, second cell first line, third cell
second line, first cell second line, second cell second line, third cell

This should get you started. Ground Zero | t 20:40, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
