This is regarding the behavior of the temple staff in the Murudeswar temple at Murudeswar. No doubt the temple is situated in a very serene place and attracts a lot of tourists. But the treatment to the devotees of Murudeswar of the temple is really bad. we have visited the temple on 13/06/2018. We had the darshan of the diety and waited for the mangala arati to be given to us. To our astonishment the priest has given the arati to the persons standing adjacent to us and taken away the arati without giving us. When we asked the priest to give the arati to us, he asked us to bring us coupon paying the price from the counter. We said that we do not want to do any seva and we just want the arati to be given. In spite of this he has refused to give us arati. We made a complaint in the temple office and they have also support the priest. It is surprising that even to get the mangala arati we have to purchase the arati ticket. We do not find this type of system in any temples. The concerned authorities may look into this and rectify.
