Engel & Völkers Bahamas is a Bahamas Luxury Real Estate practice started in 2017 by License Partner, Colin Lightbourn. His firm was originally “Bahamas Waterfront Properties” which opened in December 2006 but Colin acquired the Engel & Volkers franchise in 2017 and rebranded his company. Engel Volkers Bahamas is part of the Bahamas Real Estate Association and the Bahamas Multiple Listing Service.

Engel & Völkers was founded in 1977 by Christian Völkers who opened the first shop in Hamburg, Germany. Engel & Völkers remains the leader in the sale of residential and commercial real estate, resorts, yachts and private jets across Europe. The brand has swept through the Americas and is now making its way into the Caribbean. Engel & Volkers Bahamas was the third shop to open in the Caribbean after Grand Cayman and Belize.
