I'm Rosie Goundrill, born in Kingston upon Hull and currently residing in Scarborough. At current I'm studying Digital Media Studies at the University of Hull, Scarborough Campus and have recently entered my third year.
In 2013 I entered a module named Interaction, Experience and Engagement which was ran by Toni Sant. Within this module I worked on and improving a Wikipedia article. My specific article being Machinima: Virtual Filmmaking which was worked upon alongside fellow student Marina Ollis Marshall. This module gave me an insight into the editing process on Wikipedia alongside a view on how the site operates.
A year after my previous university project I am entering into another for the module, Psychology of Internet Behaviour, which invloves the use and editing of Wikipedia once more. The article which I will be editing is Anxiety/Uncertainty Management.
