Rory Roux, of Caucasian descent, born in South Africa on the 15th August 1979 to parents Leon and Patricia Roux. Rory grew up and resided in the small town of Queenstown in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
Rory completed his schooling career at Queens College Boys College.
Desrie Perumal, of Indian descent, born in Durban, South Africa on the 06th August 1983 to parents Simeon and Lynette Perumal. Desrie grew up in Phoenix, Durban in Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa.
Desrie completed her schooling career at Crystal Point Secondary School
Rory and Desrie met at a club in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga called Personalities in June 2004.
The beautiful mixed couple got engaged early 2006 and announced that Desrie was pregnant. Their first addition to their beautiful family arrived on the 4th September 2006. A beautiful, healthy baby girl, named Kathryn Lynne Roux.
The couple got married in court on the 15th December 2006. They had the big white wedding at Hulala Lakeside Lodge on their 1 year anniversary, 15th December 2007. It was a small intimate affair with only close friends and family attending.
