Googled into Wikipedia on 12/30/01. 15 minutes later I'm hooked. This appears to be the perfect site for ADD/OCD types. I'll have a ball here.

So far I've updated the Robert A. Heinlein page. He's my favorite author and I collect his first editions. I know nothing if not the Heinlein bibliography.

I also dabbled in Wiki-ness by adding the inaugural addresses of Ronald Reagan. I have no particular interest in this subject. But I found a POTUS list and click him and saw there was a stub for the addresses and decided that would be an easy thing to copy/paste. So I did. And it was fun. But now it's late (2:42am on 12/31/01) and I must sleep before I fall asleep at the keyboz..c,

Hey RobertL30, and welcome to Wikipedia. I redirected the diaresis page for you. If you want to know how to do it in the future, you do the following: 1. cut all the text from the original page; 2. replace it with one line "#REDIRECT New page name"; 3. save it, and you'll reach New page name; 4. select edit, paste the cut text in, save it, and you're done. -- SJK

Hi Robert -- Welcome to Wikipedia -- glad you enjoy it. You seemed to think that it would be nice if there were articles on decades and centuries. Well, in principle it is and there are. 1950s should give you a link to that decade, 20th century should give you a link to that century. These articles tend to be lists which send you off to sub articles but I would say that there's room for a short summary on these pages if it's warranted. A Happy New Year to you! -- Derek Ross
