How to Create an Info Box for a Medieval text edit

  1. Be in Visual Editor mode and position your cursor at the top of the page: Insert --> Template --> type "infobox medieval text"
  2. Select the fields you want to include.
  3. Fill in the fields. If you want the field to be a Wikipedia link, add two closed brackets before and after the text.
  4. To add an image, go to the image you want to use in Wikimedia Commons, get the file name and copy/paste it into the 'Image" field.
  5. Hit publish!
  6. If you want to edit it later, in Visual Editor, click on the box and hit "Edit"

How to Add an Image Somewhere Else in Your Article edit

 
Caption
  1. Go to Wikimedia Commons and find the image you want to use. Click on the Wikipedia logo that says "use this file." Copy the location of the thumbnail file.
  2. Go to your article and hit "Edit." Go to the Source Editor. Paste in the link you copied before wherever you want the image go to. Hit Publish!
  3. Edit the caption by going to Visual Editor and clicking on the image. Click "edit" and change the caption. Hit "apply changes" and then when you're in the regular visual editor again, hit "Publish changes."
