Rebecca Mary Anne Porter was born Rebecca Mary Anne Harwood but took on the surname Lofthouse when her mother remarried her stepfather in 1998. Rebeca herself then married Thomas Porter in 2014 and once more changed her surname.
Rebecca’s biological parents separated when she was very young and claims her grandfather was more of a dad to her than her paternal father especially as she lived with them until she was 6. Sadly, both her Grandmother and Grandfather, to whom she was very close, died in 2016 and 2014 respectively.
Porter has a half sister from her Mother’s second marriage who is 10 years younger than her. This second marriage also dissolved and neither Porter nor her sister have a role in their father’s lives.
Porter gave birth to her first child, a son, on Mother’s Day 2017
