The hashtag me too
Has taken the world
By storm unprecedented.
The famous women
And the not so well-known
Sharing their travails
Of sexual abuse, groping
And inappropriate touch
By men in power,
Men who they trusted.
Men in the guise
Of the mentor, protector
Turning into predators
Preying on women
To be abused
And molested.
Innocent children too
Not spared.
How many promising
Careers sacrificed.
Families broken
Not to talk of
The mental agony.
Wake up men, women
Say NO.
Break the silence,
Shame the perpetrator.
Achieve the very aim
Of #MeToo.
