I am a happily married veteran of United States Army campaigns in both Iraq and Afghanistan who traded in his boots and rifle for the textbooks and classroom knowledge only university life can provide. I am a military history aficionado, with specific expertise in historical American, French, and British campaigns, as well as the two World Wars. I am also an expert on military firearms - specifically those rifles, pistols, and machine guns designed and implemented in the 20th Century. I am fluent in English, French, German, and Serbo-Croatian, and speak pidgin Russian, Korean, Chinese, Italian, and Spanish.
