Born in Diepkloof Soweto in 1987 1st August at the Diepkloof Clinic, attended school at Sedibeng SA Thuto Primary school, proceeded to Qhobosheane Middle school before completing his Matric (Grade 12) at Namedi High School.
Quinton Rapodile known as “Sir Quinton” by the dance dwellers developed the love of House Music in the late 90s. In 2004 whilst in Grade 11, he got a sudden interest and the love to spin records. He then later got introduced to Thato Moremi “Dj Sub’T “ by Thabiso Mohapi.
Sub’T had the equipment at the time where Quinton was taught the basics in a bedroom before he later joined the legendary Dj Bradley mentored him for a few months before he carried on his own.
Quinton then started his own concept events and with a lot of attempts to attract a sponsor saw him with no luck and continued to fund his own events without any financial aid until he later met the Legendary Metro Fm Dj Christos who then mentored him.
In 2013 Quinton acquired a sponsor at SAB Miller, got a radio slot on Metro Fm Urban Beat under the legends wings Vinny Da Vinci and Dj Christos to help build his profile which saw him attract interest from A popular Deep House Show Vuzu Hit Refresh and various Radio stations.
Sir Quinton is popularly known for his rhythmic deep and soulful house mixes and to date the Diepkloof born Dj is still consistent and highly relevant.
