Quaddriver

Simple Intro

QuadDriver is simply the name for a longtime net-denzien who drives 'quads' - aka ATVs. Not related in anyway to the TI chips used on automobile ECMs to fire injectors.

More will be added as I think of it.

Education

Omitting my real name, I am a 40-something Systems Programmer educated with a BS-CS and minors in both EE and Math. I started a graduate program in Political Science but have since become unmotivated with age.

Hobbies

• Quaddriving obviously
• Boating
• Anything with a motor. If I cannot fix it, you needed a new one anyways.
• Spending at least an hour a day googling something to learn

Earning Bux

• Systems Programmer for over 18 years. How good am I? I have 2 patents already granted and more in prosecution. Nearly everyone capable of reading this indirectly uses code I have written nearly everyday and no, I do not work for that place in Seattle.
• Repair Shop owner. Which is funny because I cannot stand the smell of oil on my hands which really sucks when you have to dunk piston/rod assemblies in new motor oil during assembly.
• Excavation business owner. A once suggested tagline was Life's a ditch, and then you dig

Recent Edits

• I have an interest in world religions. Due to recent events and a thesis in progress I had set my sights on Mormonism, particularly the Book of Mormon. I noted the section contained here and have found that the sub-section reserved for 'critical' views is most often redacted for content by the proponents! If that is not evidence of intellectual fraud, I dont know what is. At any rate, the published data my thesis is based on should be included in Wiki. To ignore such written history is criminally negligent. I make the promise that anything I contribute will be verifiable as having occured.
  • Corrollary: I find every LDS member I have conversed with to be stunningly ignorant of Jewish history, writings, tradition, customs and language. I was more shocked to find that their own knowledge of the LDS church history is even less. PS - I am probably the only wiki contributor who is a direct descendant of Brigham Young. And uncle Brigham was a character - all those wives - was he nuts? I am also descended from the Cherokee nation and assure you, I am not Jewish.
• TPF - having spent the better part of 18 years working on it, I might as well start spilling some beans about it. You have to be really really desparate for information to want to read up on the worlds fastest (and most obscure) operating system.
  • Loosely Coupled - apparently the maxim that every term in computer science has at least two definitions still holds.
• Record locking - A neccessary evil and the focus of a significant portion of my work. If I can have nightmares about Exclusive-waiter-lists, so should you.
• Chevrolet small-block V8 - Its a guy thing.
