Writing on Music edit

As Gen Z artists came of age and gained popularity, many eschewed the traditional musical genre classification system and started creating music with sounds drawing on a multitude of genres.[1] The collective back catalogue of music history available on streaming platforms has allowed these young musicians unprecedented access to different styles without needing a robust music collection of their own. The creative freedom of DAWs has only been enhanced by the Internet Age, allowing individuals to fashion their own overloaded fusion genres that defy labels.
