Psnack is an ex-rocket scientist who currently builds bridges (Civil Engineer) and also works as a bodyworker (massage therapist) on the Left Coast of the USA.
Having a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, a license in Civil Engineering, with college training in Electrical Engineering, Pre-Med and various massage modalities; and since English is his fourth or fifth language, he has experienced many viewpoints, and when he sees a questionable claim or possible misspelling on wiki, he may add to the discussion as a devil's advocate, at the least.
Psnack wrote a Barefoot Deep Tissue article on wiki, but it was deleted by a user due to only 2 books being written on the subject. Since massage has increased by 30% in hospitals since 2003 (according to AMTA), and even everyday athletes and regular people are discovering the benefits of various bodywork modalities, Paul may not wait for the trend to overcome such animus, before posting again.
Bodywork has relatively few promoters, because of the lack of eloquent computer geeks within its realm. Therefore wiki should be a platform for expanding the knowledge.
Buteyko Breathing Therapy is another underdog item of research that is showing promising value for diagnosed asthma sufferers. We will see if the pharmacologic inertia will be maintained in this field.
