Pure tone audiometry
Hi SilkTork, I notice you just redirected Pure tone audiometry to its parent, Audiometry. I believe that this article is going to be expanded soon, since its creator made this comment, indicating it is a work in progress. Perhaps it should not be redirected at this point? Answer to a question on the Help Desk
Hey,
You answered a question on the help desk regarding Gailimh's sysop status, and said "There is something weirder in that log, see if you can find it ;-)." in reference to the sysop logs.

I am having a problem with VP AGAIN!!!!! The problem is that every time I click on something in the application, an error message appears that says "Unexpected call to method or property access". Do you know any possible solutions to this problem, or should I report it to the VPRF bug page?

- Would you mind taking a look at the edit history and talk page for de Havilland Comet? A editor has constructed a rather elaborate conspiracy theory and is attempting to insert it into the article, and the only thing that has stopped it so far is the constant editing by a handful of editors. He appears to be unwilling to accept that the wiki is not the sort of place for this It is possible that the problem is solving itself at this point, only time will tell. But if it continues, something needs to be done, but I really don't know what part of the bureaucracy to invoke. Maury 13:02, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, you can read just about anything in his entire edit list: [1] It's filled with a number of instances of name calling for one thing. That's how I learned of it, I have been editing a number of articles with BZuk over the past few months and noticed these comments. I later saw that BZuk was not the only person to be disparaged in this general fashion. I left a message on his talk page that said this sort of behaviour is not acceptable.
- But the bigger problem are the edits themselves. The statements fly in the face of every published reference any of us have ever seen. This is an example [2], one that can be easily found to be incorrect. When adding this again after it was RVed, he claimed he was "correcting pro-Nazi vandalism by those wishing to use Wikipedia as a vehicle for German propaganda". Then in the Me 262 article he made the same claim, [3], commenting "BZuks' astonishing ignorance and bias, possibly reflecting his anti-British prejudice...".
- In the case of the Comet, he has constructed a lengthy conspiracy theory combining the CIA and ex-Nazi bomb experts who blew up the airliners (for no explained reason). He also claims that some sort of outgrowth of this same group has more recently attempted to blow up the Space Shuttle, an attempt which he personally stopped. I'm not joking, he's put it all on the talk page here: [4]

Thanks for the revert on my talk page; just so you're aware, it was just a friend of mine making an edit so I had a usermessage box to play with for a new script I'm working on... he was supposed to make a normal post, but I guess he just decided to inject a big image instead. Question
Is my username really too similar to EssJay's? In my opinion, I think my name looks dissimilar since it has an extra Jay in front and doesn't start with the letter E. Jay seems to be a commonly used letter combination too. But if a name change is necessary, I will do so. How dissimilar must a name be in order to be acceptable?
