Prijin Balu Kallara

Prijin Balu was born to R. Balakrishnan Nair and Ajitha R on 18th November 1992 at Attingal in Trivandrum. Preeja Balu is his younger sister. Prijin's initial schooling was at Govt. V.H.S.S. Kallara, Trivandrum, and Govt. B.H.S.S Mithirmala, Trivandrum. Later, he pursued Bachelor's Degree in History from Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapuram in 2013 and Master's Degree in History from the University of Kerala in 2016. He also pursued one Master's Degree in TV Journalism from Kerala Media Academy, Cochin. In 2015 he started his career as an Assistant Producer in Victers Educational Channel under the Dept. of Education, Govt. of Kerala. He has worked in several Documentary Productions as Director, Cameraman, Writer, etc. Prijin has won his First award in 2018 for the Documentary 'KADAKKAL THIRUVATHIRA' by the Chamber of Shortfilm Makers & Thanniyam Sree MahaGanapathy Temple Trust Kallara.
