Early Life

Precious Jefferson hails from Biase local government, Cross River State. She was born into a family of 6 children and raised wth strong moral and religious inclinations, her parents being the disciplinarians they are. She attended Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic school and Majesty High school in Calabar, where she first fell in love with pageantry. Following her graduation the University of Port Harcourt, she chose to forgo a possible Nollywood career to focus on her first love – beauty pageants.”

She  is an ex-beauty queen with a highly successful record of participation in beauty pageants stretching back over a decade, including an outing where she represented Nigeria at the 2016 Miss Globe finals in Albania. She is a model, an entrepreneur, CEO of Roses & Rubies International, she is also the CEO of Miss Africa Beauty Queen Spa and Lounge Limited. She is the Executive Director of Africa Beauty Queen International, a new beauty pageant platform that is designed to correct everything that is wrong with current Nigeria pageant practice.

Modelling & Pageantry

She started her foray into modelling and pageantry at a tender age of 9 after winning Miss New Year in 2008. Several notable victories including that of Miss Valentine in 2009, Miss Independence in 2011, Calabar Carnival Queen in 2013 and Miss Globe Nigeria in 2016 which led her to representing Nigeria at the global finale in Albania where she won the Miss Disco Queen International title. Precious believes that beauty pageants help and promote African women by teaching them elocution and stress management skills that are invaluable to their future growth and development wherever they find themselves. She personally credits pageants with improving her public speaking and confidence.

About her Projects;

Fighting a battle against pageant profiteers, she sees her involvement in pageantry as a divine task and an opportunity to mentor young girls entering the beauty pageant space in Nigeria. She describes Miss Africa Beauty Queen as a platform that showcases beauty, intelligence, strength and talent, doing all these things the right and professional way. The pageant held its maiden edition on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Oriental Hotel with 20-year-old delegate from Ethiopia, Misker Kassahun beating the other 14 delegates to win the crown.
