Isambard Kingdom Brunel 1 submission to FAC, featured / front paged March '06. Still a great article.
Iron Maiden 2 submissions to FAC plus lots of heavy editing, got front paged.
F-35 Joint Strike Fighter 1 submission to FAC and lots of jiggling it all about, FA in Feb '06, front paged July.
Iron Maiden and JSF are no longer FA, which I agree with - the Maiden article is unmaintainable with the amount of badly edited cruft in there, and JSF is now too listy.
Next ones to consider working hard on for Featured :
