Polda is my nickname made by my classmates from primary school,
18 is a randomly selected number.
My real name is Marek Poláček.

I do computer graphics and games, again trying to develop programs and applications.
I successfully graduated from Střední průmyslová škola v Ústí nad Labem (Industrial Middle School in Ústí nad Labem). I also maintain my hobbies for games Quake III Arena and Minecraft.
I now study at Technical University of Ostrava, degree Mobile Technology.

About me edit

 
I'm from Ústí nad Labem.

More hobbies would be photography (some of my photos may be in my gallery, They're also in Commons), level design, webdesign, 3D modelling and playing card games. I mostly translate articles from foreign mutations to Czech on Wikipedia as of now, but I would like to contribure with my own knowledge and skills in my own hobbies and professions, with references to other literature and Internet sources. I'm a student, and I'm beginning to create content on YouTube and Twitch.

Culture corner edit

Born in 1996, I never had a chance to witness the past as the time of political dissidents and prisoners and dictature behind the Iron Curtain, honesty, I don't really care. What I find beautiful on this past is the music and movies. Popular music was best basically in this so called "golden era", it's at least twenty years, at most fifty, and this music is still played and is still quite many people's favourite. I mostly like Czech movies, comedies from 70's and 80's, but also foreign movies contain many greatest gems.

I won't write out the entire list of my favourite singles, that would be too long to read, allas I don't really remember most of their exact names and I don't quite know if they have their own articles on Wikipedia. I instead write list of my favourite bands and artists, with list of my most favourite songs of theirs (order is rather random, not particularily around the favouritness scale):
