Systemic bias is deeply embedded in Wikipedia. You can work on counteracting it, but know that there is no serious desire from the administration to do anything about flagrant violations. After years of editing Wikipedia, it has enlightened me as to how much history and knowledge gets left out because someone wants to remove it from the public eye. When you use Wikipedia, you can get a good summary, but you won't have any idea what has been omitted.

Ultimately, I would recommend you read a book and get off of here.
