As an IT Director my niche is in eliminating redundancies, and improving the top and bottom line with minimal disruption to the workplace and customers across multiple departments and all vertical lines of operations.
In my experience I have found that human capital does play a role in the success and failure of a company, however the evidence I’ve see is that ad-hoc legacy IT systems and solutions that have not been customized and/or aligned to the business objectives are costing companies millions.
