While it is possible for this user to make real contributions, he finds that actually using his brain objectively (instead of doing mindless, repetitive tasks) requires incredible concentration on his part, and the results are not usually worth the effort.
First sentence shamelessly plagiarized. Happy-melon came up with it here.

I have been semi-active on Wikipedia for some time now, and slowly this page has come together, largely through selective plagarism of templates etc from other users who I look up to.

Since being here I have moved my focus increasingly from creating new articles (which I still do on occasion) to copy-editing and patrolling recent changes/new pages. I have become a Reviewer recently, and I would one day like to become an Administrator as these tools would help me in my fight against edits made in poor faith. I would not like to nominate myself for this role, as I feel it is the confidence of the community which should one day see this process occur.

I have also written a short essay about how I believe Wikipedians, new and old should behave.

cheers, Phil
