Bio edit

After an initiation to Logo, I started to learn programming in Basic on the Commodore 16 by myself, that was back in 1988-89 if I remember correctly. I later moved to Commodore 64 and 128, which included newer versions of Basic, and finally to object oriented programming in Pascal on MS-DOS PC, that's also when I started to use Windows 3.x.

Later I followed two years of electronics, which allowed me to get to assembly and hardware (using CPUs on custom PCBs, logical and analogic integrated circuits). That might explain my interest in Windows CE back when it was only "Codename Pegasus".

I started Windows programming with Microsoft Visual Basic 3 and Borland Delphi 1 (aka Visual Object Pascal), to then move to C/C++ programming on DOS and Windows (Win32 API).

After some experiences in Web development (NT Server administration, HTML, ASP and DHTML in JScript and ActiveX controls), I returned to C/C++ and VB on mobile devices running Windows CE, now called Windows Mobile and Windows Embedded CE.

Topics of interest edit

My current work involves trainings, research and development on Windows Embedded CE and NT devices using C/C++ and the .NET Framework and Compact Framework.

I'm not very active on Wikipedia, but decided to join the experience to add some information on some software-related topics for which I have information gathered from long hours spent on them.
