Conflict of interest: I am a staff member of the WGBH Educational Foundation and the American Archive of Public Broadcasting. Under Wikipedia's GLAM category, professionals affiliated with an institution in the cultural sector (such as a museum, library, archive, public art gallery or similar) "are a custodian of our cultural heritage, which places [them] in a unique position to improve Wikipedia." I am collaborating with the Wikimedia Foundation to encourage the growth and development of free content, and to provide content of wiki-based projects to the public free of charge, and I wish to be respectful of the platform by contributing edits that strengthen Wikipedia's encyclopedic knowledge.
